L'embrione del magazine è la succulenta rubrica che porta lo stesso nome in Metal Hammer ed è curata nei primi anni da Stefano Longhi, già responsabile insieme a Rob Mammarella della fantastica fanzine Thanatography, quindi gente esperta. Tornando a Grind Zone rivista, fino ad alcuni anni fa i contenuti soddisfacevano ampiamente i gregari del metal estremo con news, servizi, rubriche varie e ampie recensioni...l'informazione perfetta!!!
